Mom once said "she's not like everyone else" about me, and I guess it's true. But what she didn't say was that she wasn't like everyone else either, and neither was Daddy. They were very special people with no limit on their love or generosity. I'm so blessed that these two people were my parents.

Hi Linda .. expressed so well .. and our parents are special .. I am lucky my mother lives on and I appreciate the time I get to spend with her.
ReplyDeleteLilac is not her favourite .. but scents are & I have fresh flowers in her room everyday .. not always scented ..the challenge of no garden - but she loves the colours and the variations.
We are all unique and special .. and have so much to offer at all times .. Thanks Linda - great read today .. Hilary

Hilary- Yes, you are lucky to still have your mother. My mom loved all flowers, so it was hard to pick, but when I saw the picture, I remembered how much she enjoyed the lilacs. Good for you to give your mom fresh flowers every day.
